Since 1979, Pace has been recognized as a leading manufacturer of kitchen and bathroom cabinetry offering a wide selection of designs and finishes that satisfy the diverse needs of the marketplace. It may come as no surprise that the City of Big Shoulders is home to Pace. Located in Chicago, Pace is dedicated to manufacturing quality, reasonably priced and stylish cabinets and accessories that will enhance any room in your home.

NO WAITING, NO HASSLE

Pace holds the belief that the product must be available at the time the customer is ready or the sale will be lost. To anticipate this requirement, we “build to stock” rather than “build to order” and maintain a two to three week supply of finished cabinets on hand. By doing this, we can fulfill orders in a timely fashion to ensure the product is available when needed. As an example, when someone buys a competitor’s kitchen from a distributor, it takes anywhere from six to eight weeks to receive the cabinets. Because we have plentiful stock, we can ship within a day or two if they want. If there is a problem with a cabinet, it will take several weeks to resolve via the distributor. However, because Pace is a manufacturer and not a distributor, we resolve this sort of problem in 24 hours.

QUALITY PRODUCTS AND PEOPLE

Quality most certainly factors into Pace’s manufacturing process. A kitchen or bathroom cabinet should last for years. Low cost competitors may not use the proper materials so the product has a chance to fall apart in a few years. At Pace, we use quality materials and are always looking to improve the quality of our cabinets. Quality is mostly accomplished on the factory floor. Pace employs full time inspectors who pay close attention to details from start to finish. Together, cabinet makers, paint sprayers, inspectors, warehouse personnel, order fillers and truck loaders all take pride in making sure quality and service is top notch.
